And I was bored and wanted to play a warrior an didn't see the point of starting one and then starting one again. Is this how this is gonna go? :/

I just don't see what the point of the whole start time post was then. Should have just stated a day people can level and take it from there tbh. Pointless argument anyway. Out of my hands and people will do what they want

If we follow the soft caps I think it'll still be fine. I didn't level high at all, and I don't think hardly anyone else has started yet. HAVE FAITH. In a few weeks we'll be running...some...idk what level dungeons but you know what it'll be fine and great.

I just don't see what the point of the whole start time post was then. Should have just stated a day people can level and take it from there tbh. Pointless argument anyway. Out of my hands and people will do what they want some of us cant make it on either of the start times listed, we went ahead and started leveling. i dont see the big deal, as mine is an alt, but getting to like level 10 when you want to keep the same levelish and cant make it the first couple days, i honestly dont see an issue. Some of us have prior engagements and still want to be involved rather than logging on and seeing everyone at level 40 after the weekend. some cant play as often as others due to jobs etc. i honestly dont see an issue as long as level caps are followed. its not like they are level 80. the highest on real id i saw was 17. edit: as for a game releasing analogy. if the game releases and the other friend has more free time and has other people who are playing at launch and he wants to play with them too, he will play with them if the other person has to work, etc. rather than falling behind with his main or making the person make a new char to play just with him,, he will most likely start and try to keep up to play with him when he can rather than being left behind so they can play together when their times coincide. thats just my view.

Oh crap! I'm going to get on now and level my Rogue then! I was busy with real life stuff, apologies I wasn't on yesterday.
Oh wait, tomorrow's Friday. I'll just level midday tomorrow then?

I'll probably try to level my shaman a bit tonight then, since I'm busy for all of Friday save for like an hour period when I get home from work. I also give 0 cares about people leveling ahead of people. I understand the concept of building community, but since you can level down to peopel's levels you can still help with dungeons and what not, so it's still going to build a community as long as people are willing to help. The willingness is more important than the level any day of the week.

but since you can level down to peopel's levels Have I missed something, or is this not possible? Anyway, I'm ok with people leveling some if they know they aren't going to be able to make the "start" window. That said, I'd rather not log on tomorrow after work to find half the guild is already 30+.

but since you can level down to peopel's levels Have I missed something, or is this not possible? You cast doubt on me. I thought you could. I could be wrong. I am probably thinking of FFXIV. >.> I'm barely awake so I apologize if I'm wrong. My original point remains valid: It's about friendliness and willingness to help than making people wait to level, in my opinion. However we work it, it will work out.

Yeah, I think you are thinking of another game. That would be cool, though. Again, I think it's fine if people are putting some time in early because they know they will miss the start time. But people who know they can play during the start time should probably wait.

No point in anymore posts on this thread people will do what they want

I dont think its a big deal unless someone goes hogwild and gets to like 40 in one sitting. I know i wont.
Considering dungeons start at 15, if a person gets to 20 or 25, but then misses the official start, it shouldnt hamper group leveling. By the time those of us who "pre-level" get back on, most should be neck and neck and a few well beyond that. Just my opinion of course.

Can this please not be a big deal? The start time picked wasn't even one we voted on and we can't be there regardless. Follow soft caps and it'll be fine.

I made my character but I'm waiting till the actual official start. Since I'm going to be playing a prot warrior, does a healer who will also be leveling on Friday want to team-up? We can start doing instant-queue dungeons as soon as we hit level 15. Healer here, I will definitely team up with you (: Any DPS who will be on at official start feel free to join
